Jim is Vice President at Neoteric Technologies Incorporated, a women owned small disadvantaged business. He has been working in the CALS arena since its inception, serving in such capacities as: Industry Steering Committee co-chair representing EIA G-47 Committee ( Systems Engineering), Invited speaker at various industry CALS conferences, and capture manager for ACALS program (now JCALS).
Jim's main task at Neotek is leading research and development projects in the application of information technologies for reduced operation and maintenance costs of large systems. These typically involve automation of logistics products for DoD weapons and support systems.
Mr. Neiers graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, IA in 1963 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He received an MS in applied Mathematics in 1969 from Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in Melbourne, FL.
Jim and his wife Charl have lived in Huntsville since 1970. They have two children and four grandchildren.
