Linda S. Burgher is the DOD focal point for Configuration Management; Chairperson of the Configuration Management Advisory Group; the US representative to the NATO Configuration Management Working Group; and CM liaison to various industry associations. Ms. Burgher is the preparing activity for the DOD top level standard and companion handbook on configuration management. Ms. Burgher is the 1994 recipient of the Stearns Award, which recognizes excellence in contribution to the American Defense Preparedness Association (ADPA). This prestigious award is awarded to commend outstanding leadership and efficiency in standardization of engineering documentation.
