Speaker: Phil Farrington

Phillip A. Farrington is an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a PhD. in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Prior tottending Oklahoma State University, he worked for three years as a manufacturing engineer with the A.B. Chance Company of Centralia, Missouri. His research interests include the design and analysis of manufacturing systems, simulation methodology, and integrated product and process design. His professional affiliations include membership in ASEE, ASQC, IIE, and SME. He is currently serving as President of the Huntsville Area Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
