Alan E. Lager is an independent consultant doing business as MLR Associates in Alexandria, Virginia. Mr. Lager has been a leading industry spokesman on configuration and data management for the past 20 years. He is a member of the DOD's Configuration Management Advisory Group, Vice-Chairman of the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) Panel on Configuration and Data Management, and is Task Leader for the new Industry CM Standard, IS-649. He is also Vice-Chairman of the CALS/IPT CDM Task Group. An engineering graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, Mr. Lager is the author of many papers and symposia on CM. He is the 1988 recipient of the EIA Engineering Department's "Distinguished Contribution Award" and the 1995 recipient of the E.J. Nucci Award for Engineering Excellence. |
