"Mastering Collaborative
Technology
to deliver business solutions"
ELECTRONIC
MEETING SYSTEMS
FOR
COLLABORATIVE
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS
Vision:
No one is better qualified to define needs than the user. Furthermore, a group of
qualified users can determine needs better than the single user. Traditional methods of
group decision making tend to be both cumbersome and unproductive. EMS is committed to
applying innovative technology to overcome conventional group decision-making problems.
Our distinction is our ability to apply this technology in delivering implemented
solutions.
Electronic Meeting Systems (EMS) is one of five
specialized branches comprising the Interagency Applications Division (IA) of Information
Systems Directorate Office within the Corporate Information
Center (CIC) of Redstone Arsenal's US Army
Missile Command Center. |

| Rapid Application Development: |
| Collaborative decision support is particularly effective in
our approach to Rapid Application Development. After starting with an organized business
plan that is supported by activity models, many of the functional segments may be derived
from facilitated sessions, such as the logical data models and application screen designs.
By applying CASE technology to maximize reusable code generations, we have found that the
life cycle of application development and deployment is greatly reduced. |
